Qantas will commence service on the Perth – Johannesburg route on 7th December 2025 with a 3 x weekly A330-200 service offering 28 Business Class and 243 Economy Class seats.

This will be particularly useful for travellers using Global Explorer fares as South Africa could previously only be reached from Sydney, leading to huge backtracks if passengers wanted to visit Western Australia or the Northern Territory in Australia.
