FAQs

Where Is The Hardest Place To Get To On A Round The World Ticket?

Easter Island has to be up there. It is only served by one or two flights per day from Santiago de Chile, which is 2,332 miles away. All flights are on LATAM which is part of the SkyTeam alliance, and SkyTeam does not offer Round The World tickets. Therefore Easter Island can only be reached by buying a separate side-trip ticket from Santiago de Chile.

Which Are The Best Airlines To Fly With?

Obviously the ones which fly where you want to go will be the best for you.

Beyond that it comes down to your own preferences, your culture and blind luck. Kiwis might love some Air New Zealand, Germans Lufthansa and Japanese All Nippon or Japan Airlines.

However if you are travelling in Economy Class the best airline is the one where you don’t get a middle seat, with a Sumo wrestler with a flatulence problem by the window, somebody with constant hiccups in the aisle seat and a small child behind you who keeps kicking your seat back.
