The baggage fee for the Los Angeles – New York JFK sector cannot be included in the ticket price and must be paid online during online check-in or at the airport at airport check-in.
“In this instance a Build Your Own itinerary saves £710.82 against the Star Alliance YRWSPCL fare. However this does involve using New York JFK instead on Newark as the New York airport and returning to London Gatwick not London Heathrow.
It should be pointed out that most of the tickets quoted to make up the Build Your Own itinerary are non-changeable and non-refundable and you may not wish to commit to dates before departure from Norway. If you book these tickets as you go along there is no guarantee that prices will remain stable.”
