Bus
The Airport Rail Link is an eight station line departing from a station beneath the airport terminal to Bangkok City Centre.
Services take around 30 minutes and operate from 0530-2359. Tickets are in the form of plastic tokens which can be purchased for cash only at machines at the station. A Rabbit Pass which is valid on the Airport Rail Link and on the Pink and Yellow MRT lines, buses and the Chao Phraya River Cruise can be ordered online here.
The (usually) orange S1 bus connects the airport to ten stops around the City Centre taking around 75 minutes for the journey.
The fare is THB60 (as of 15th September 2025) and must be bought with cash from the conductor on the bus.
Taxi
In order to take a taxi go to the kiosks located by Door 4 of the arrivals area and collect a printed ticket with a taxi number. Then proceed to the rank to find your taxi. Fares should be metered and will cost around THB500-600 if you travel with the expressway.
Payment must be in cash and drivers usually don’t have change for THB1,000.

Getting Around Bangkok
